Right in the heart of Everything you need. This very clean Hotel was a Class Act. I was very impressed with everything. Parking Garage was nearby -which kept my truck safe and secure. The GM Mike was on the premises. He gave us a warm welcome. Room was immaculate. This Hotel is the #1 reason why we are coming back. We will be returning soon. Thank you 1888 for being you.
We loved staying here! We came back home to celebrate our daughter’s birthday & It was the best location. the price was amazing especially for all of the space we got . We had a cute mini apartment, two bedrooms with king sized beds, a WONDERFUL shower and the water was so soft ! ( definitely a plus ) The free toiletries were all Native and Myers, free wash and dryer on every floor, and a fully functional kitchen. Management has wonderful communication throughout your stay and if there’s ever a question about anything they are very quick to respond. We thought parking would be a hassle but it was very easy and the evening strolls were always worth it. All in all , We throughly enjoyed every second of our stay & we will definitely be back. if you’re curious about staying here, do it !
We had an amazing time. Our room was room 305 the honeymoon suite it wasn’t huge, but it was just what we needed everything that we needed to cook relax and head to our venue we had. They do have other rooms that are larger if you wanted more space. But it is definitely not tiny. Worth the money for sure. The hotel itself is elegant yet Progressive. They had great music piped in To the front porch and the ample seating area in the foyerevery morning for relaxing coffee time. We met all the owners and they were amazing people. Mike was a fabulous host. He helped us with everything we needed. I will definitely be booking my stay next year as soon as we get the dates for the Reggae Fest. Thanks again guys for treating us like Family!
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary (many years!) and we decided to revisit St. Petersburg to relive our first vacation there shortly after we got married. St. Pete has really blossomed into a great place to visit, with many wonderful restaurants, museums, and great vistas of Tampa Bay. We stayed at the 1888 Hotel, which is walking distance to many of the restaurants, shops, and main thoroughfares. This is a boutique hotel that is welcoming and offers comfortable, well-appointed rooms. As we walked into the room, we were pleasantly surprised to see a basket with goodies and a card in celebration of our anniversary. Nice touch. We highly recommend this hotel.
Good vibes, excellent location, and close to coffee!! Cant wait to do it again! What an amazing little spot!! This place far exceeded my expectations. I stayed at the "apartment style" room on the second floor and it was just perfect. My highlights are - extremely comfy bed and pillows, the bathroom had everything I needed, the kitchen area was very roomy with every appliance imaginable. The BONUS is that if you love coffee, KAHWA is right on the corner about 600 feet from the entrance. All other St Pete fun stuff is all within walking distance. I love that this place is just one block on the "not so busy" side of St Pete. As for parking, I have a high vehicle so I wasnt able to use the parking garage, but I was lucky enough to find street parking right at the front entrance every night. Street Parking is FREE from 10pm to 8am. SO party late and wake up early! I cant wait to stay here again. The virtual staff was excellent and I had no issues checking in or checking out.
The 1888 Hotel in St. Petersburg exceeded all of my expectations. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown with so much within walking distance, and anything further is just a quick Uber ride away. The service was fantastic—quick, friendly, and incredibly informative. I received all the details I needed before check-in, and everything was crystal clear, making the whole process seamless. Parking was super convenient and close to the hotel, which made things even easier. The room and overall atmosphere were great, and for the price, this place is truly a hidden gem. I would highly recommend the 1888 Hotel to anyone visiting St. Pete, and I’m already looking forward to staying here again!
Modern, comfortable, cozy, and welcoming. It was really nice to have a kitchen! Location was great - walking distance to the waterfront, shops, restaurants, and the Pier, but far enough away that it was quiet enough at night. (Also walking distance to North Shore Aquatic Complex.) You can tell that the owners/staff really care about details. They are very accommodating and responsive. I would definitely stay here again!
I stayed here for two weeks during some business meetings in Tampa. Flew in from overseas, so I wanted a quiet and relaxed spot to deal with jetlag - and this place was perfect. I’d grab a croissant from the café right across the street and walk along the pier and parks every morning. Lots of restaurants in walking distance too. The service was definitely 5-star. Mike was around and helped with anything I needed. They’ve got laundry machines and even a free water filter in the room, which I really appreciated. I stayed in unit 301, a 2-bedroom apartment. The whole building has that old-school vibe and a lot of charm, and it’s totally quiet at night. Would definitely stay here again!
